InforMNs hosts MN Learning Loop and Internet2 Resources
InforMNs, Innovations for Minnesota Schools, is a web site created by TIES for teachers and those who support technology in the classroom.  TIES has been supporting teachers through InforMNs and Internet- based learning resources since 1993.

MN Minnesota Learning Loop tools on the InforMNs website include a Teacher Resource Center where teachers can search a database of web resources aligned to  Minnesota Academic Standards.

TIES renews Partnership with Verizon Thinkfinity for 2011-12
TIES is pleased to announce that the 12 year partnership with Verizon Thinkfinity has been renewed for another year.  Educators can now see the updated website and many new resources on the Thinkfinity web site.  TIES and regional partners will continue to  conduct workshops for educators on Verizon Thinkfinity resources. 


iLab Central - Stem Lab
Virtual science labs using remote equipment.  Radiation Lab Experiment from Australia.  Neutron Beam Lab at MIT.  Free for k-12 students.

Nautilus Live
Oceanographer touts deep sea web surfing.  Nautilus Live allows people to not only learn about the expeditions but watch them live and listen to the scientists in the control rooms as discoveries are made. 

Mega Conference Jr

Megaconference Jr. is an international program designed to give students in elementary through secondary schools around the world the opportunity to communicate, collaborate and learn in real time, using advanced multi-point video conferencing technology. Video Jockey (VJ) teams and their interactive partners will develop and share activities focused on both academic and cultural issues. The teams will collaborate with geographically diverse peers on authentic learning activities, thus building global cultural awareness. Participants viewing the days events will be able to address questions to the presenters through a special Megaconference Jr. social networking site.

Megaconference Jr. addresses local and national curriculum standards in multiple subject areas. It will also help students and teachers develop the capacity to effectively utilize high-speed networks, videoconferencing and other emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences.
